Build in the early 1950s, this cottage has been upgraded and decorated to create the best of old and new: charming painted wood floors, antique furnishings, newly installed shower, self-sufficient kitchen, and breathtaking oceanic views. The house sleeps one to five people and is the perfect retreat for travelers and small families.

Take in the majestic beauty of Eastern Canada from your front porch or stroll through this quaint oceanside community. Relax at the end of the day in your natural surroundings amidst a most beautiful area in Nova Scotia. A small post office in Ketch Harbour is located along Ketch Harbour Road, just up from the cottage within easy walking distance. There is a general store, Mishoo Variety Store, with take out food and a liquor store. It is located further south along Ketch Harbour Road towards Sambro and Crystal Crescent Beach.

Your host, Tracy O'Brien, will oversee the care of the cottage prior to your arrival and after your departure. Tracy will supply you with keys, and take care of bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen linens. You are responsible for keeping the cottage tidy.  The fridge and cupboards should be emptied, and garbage collected prior to leaving. Respect and courtesy towards the next guests visiting is appreciated and expected. Further instructions regarding garbage disposal and recycling during your stay will be provided. Tracy was raised in Nova Scotia and currently resides in Ketch Harbour.   She will be more than happy to help you with directions and recommend tourist attractions.
